The Cielo Vista Mall in El Paso, Texasjoined forces with the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation to host the 5th annual Cancer Survivor Line Dance Celebration. This vibrant event, held on Saturday, June 6from noon to 2 p.m.aimed to honor cancer survivors during National Cancer Survivor Month.

The celebration, themed “Give Cancer the Boot with a 50s twist,” promised a day filled with line dancingprizesart exhibitsand other festivities. The event was designed to recognize and celebrate cancer survivors from across the Borderland region.

The festivities kicked off with the “Give Cancer the Boot” costume contest, where participants showcased their creative outfits. The top three crowd favorites were awarded gift cards.
