A Severe Flood Warning is in effect for Dallas, Texas, until October 2, 2026, 4:00 AM CDT, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). The warning affects White Rock Creek near Greenville Ave.
The warning indicates that minor flooding is forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to 86.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon to 71.9 feet late tonight. It will rise to 74.1 feet tomorrow morning.
Residents in the affected areas should be prepared for possible flooding. At 88.0 feet, moderate flooding will occur along the creek, potentially affecting Merriman Parkway, Moss Park, and the Fair Oaks Softball and Baseball Complex.
