A Severe Flood Warning is in effect for Val Verde County, Texas, until 6:00 AM CDT on July 20. The warning was issued by the National Weather Service (NWS).
The warning affects the Devils River at Pafford Crossing near Comstock. Moderate flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue until Monday morning.
A Flood Warning indicates that flooding is imminent or occurring. Rivers may overflow their banks, and low-lying areas could be inundated. The river is expected to crest at 10.7 feet late this evening and then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
