Squeeze In, the California-based restaurant chain renowned for its eclectic decor and mouthwatering omelettes, is set to open its first Texas location in far North San Antonio this October. The announcement comes after months of anticipation since the chain first revealed its plans to expand into the Lone Star State.
The new location will be situated at 2230 TPC Parkway, Suite 101according to filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. This 2,271 square-foot space is expected to cost around $600,000 to outfit, promising a lively and inviting atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.

Founded in 1974 in the picturesque mountain town of Truckee, CaliforniaSqueeze In has built a reputation for its energetic vibe and generous portions. The chain is famous for its brightly colored walls, which guests are encouraged to sign with a Sharpie, creating a unique and personalized dining experience. Shila Morrisco-owner of Squeeze In, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, “San Antonio has a strong food culture and a growing population, just two of the reasons we selected the greater area for our first location in Texas.” The new restaurant aims to bring the same unbeatable menu of breakfast and brunch classics to the San Antonio area, served with great value and warm hospitality.
The construction of the new location is set to begin on July 1, 2026with an expected completion date of October 2, 2026. The project involves a complete tenant fit-out, including the construction of dining areas, a kitchen, office space, restrooms, and updates to electrical and plumbing systems. The tenant for the space is listed as Kiersten Smythwho confirmed with WhatNow San Antonio that she and her husband are the franchise owners. The property owner is SS 281 & TPC LLCand design work is being handled by California-based ACS.
