The tour explores Black history in the region from 1850 through 2026 and examines the contributions of Black El Pasoans through various aspects of community life.
The tour begins and ends at the McCall Neighborhood Center on Friday, June 12, from 9 a.m. to noon. Admission is free, providing an educational and enriching experience for participants.
El Paso Sun City Pride will host a fundraiser during Pride Night with the El paso locomotive FC on Saturday, June 13. A portion of ticket sales will support the organization’s operational expenses, encouraging community members to attend and support local LGBTQ+ advocacy efforts.
The match will see the Locomotive face Phoenix Rising FC at Southwest University Parkwith gates opening at 6 p.m. and the match starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for $20.
The San Elizario Players community theatre troupe will present “1876 Billy the Kid ~ The Play”a family-friendly production exploring the history and legends surrounding Billy the Kid in the Southwest.
